Our recent additions to our suite of printing and finishing equipment include an Agfa Anapurna 1650i LED Wide Format printer and the new Mollti-Taper System.
The hybrid Anapurna HI650i LED printer is a reliable, high speed and versatile Wide Format printer. This six colour (CMYKLcLM+white) LED printer processes flexible and rigid media up to 5.4 ft.wide. Prints as fast as 301sq. ft/hr. (in production mode) at up to 720 x 1,400 dpi. It can print on rigid and flexible media by means of LED curing. It produces top-quality prints on uncoated rigid media, such as corrugated boards, rigid plastics, exhibition panels, stage graphics, and advertising panels, as well as on roll media such as film, vinyl and paper, banners, canvas and coated textiles. The use of speciality inks and the little heat generated by the LED array passing over the substrate allows the user to print on a wider range of materials. As a result, the engines can print on thin heat-sensitive styrene as well as everything from foils and laminates to coated paper, PET, fluted polypropylene, soft foam boards, or industrial film.
The new Mollti-Taper System is a heavy duty, economical taping system which provides high-quality folding, gluing, taping and finishing capabilities. The tape Application Machine offers simple solutions for applying finger lift or double-sided tap to a wide range of finished products. The Mollti Taper system has a built-in registration system to ensure that each item is taped with accuracy. It is capable of running in line with an existing feeder and of running up to four tape heads. The set-up time between jobs is less than a few minutes. The Mollti-Taper has capabilities for finishing Table Talkers, Shelf Talkers, Wobblers, Signage, Strut Cards, Tent Cards, Posters, Pocket Folders, Envelopes, Record Sleeves and much more.
