The Drogheda Fleadh committee have been bidding since 2011 to bring Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann to Drogheda, with our MD Padraic Kierans being an integral part of the team and now acting as Deputy Project Director. Anglo Printers also provide sponsorship towards the Fleadh, the largest celebration of Irish music, song and dance in the world attracting visitors to Drogheda from all around the globe. Drogheda welcomed Fleadh Cheoil Na hÉireann for the first time in 2018. The event was so successful that it attracted over 400,000 visitors to our historic town which provided a substantial economic boost for the local economy. Drogheda has the honour of hosting Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann for the second time from 11 -18th August 2019.
