We bring Laminating in-house

During 2010/2011 we exhausted every avenue in our efforts to ensure we were taking out cost and improving service and quality wherever possible. Part of this process was the recognition that we needed to bring production laminating in-house. We set about finding the most suitable laminating machine for production of B2 Matt and Gloss Lam, on both Litho and Digital printed work.

The solution we chose was the D&K Jupiter fully automated B2 Laminator. Compact and easy to use the Jupiter is designed with today's print on demand market in mind. Its features make it equally adept at running both digital and lithographic output. It has a centralized PLC control panel which offers ease of operation and is enhance with a modem link for remote diagnostics. The film mandrel swings out to speed up roll changes. Film can be adjusted laterally on the run to minimize waste and down time.

The end result is a perfectly applied finish to your print job each and every time. This service being offered in-house removes logistics costs, and secures quicker turnaround times for our customers.
